As much as I enjoyed living in Paris for a month, the apartment being so small was at times claustrophobic. No such problem with the rental in Amsterdam. Located in the western part of the city, this beautiful light, airy apartment was a treat.
The owner of the apartment, Bart, really went out to make me feel at home with a welcome bottle of wine and food in the refrigerator for breakfast the next morning. The only bad thing was not wanting to leave!
