As I prepare to leave the Cook Islands (and hope to return again someday and say Kia Orani again), here are some more images. Talk to you in Auckland (where I lose a day, leaving Thursday afternoon and arriving Friday evening as I pass over the international dateline).

wait, you write NO REFERENCE about rupert and survivor? have you gone mad?
Haha! What was I thinking? I don't think Survivor made much of a lasting impression here, even Rupert. But I did reference the black pearls!
Guess you didn't buy any pearls then?
Aere ra Rarotonga!
No pearls this time around!
We learned a bit about Survivor when we went to Aitutaki. They did it on some of the atolls out there. Michael, you really have to get out there next time you're in the Cook Islands! If you thought Rarotonga was paradise, you don't know what you missed!
It's fun reading your blog and it was great meeting you on the island.
Dan+Jenny
Dan and Jenny, I was wondering about Survivor there because it didn't seem like too many people on Rarotonga knew much about it, just kind of aware of it. In fact, Jim, the owner of Aroa Beachside even said they should have taken more advantage of them filming there when it came to tourism. I definitely want to get to Aitutaki next time. It was great meeting you both as well!
