Nancy

My last day excursion was to Nancy, in the Lorraine region of France. About 90 minutes by train, Nancy is a university town and known for its Art Nouveau architecture and Quiche Lorraine. I arrived on a Tuesday, so almost all museums were closed, but there was a free art nouveau exhibition that I checked out and there are various city walks that the tourist office recommends. These walks take you through various parts of the city (it’s small and very walkable) that highlight the architecture and history. And while I didn’t eat any quiche lorraine, the la bouchée à la reine at Les Pissenlits that came highly recommended by the guy at the tourist office was excellent!
